Welcome! I’m Dr. Dana Mincer, a Family Practice Board Certified physician with a strong passion for holistic healing and providing compassionate care. As an experienced direct primary care doctor, I graduated from PCOM, and completed my residency at Lower Bucks Hospital.
My journey into medicine was anything but conventional. It began uniquely at the age of 28. Balancing the demands of medical school at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine with the joys of early parenthood to my 6 week-old-infant, I graduated in 2015, ready to make a difference. Choosing a career in medicine is not just a professional pursuit for me; I truly believe that it is my life’s calling.
As a competitive dancer and former D1 Athlete (volleyball), I had always be taught to push through the pain. During my residency at Lower Bucks Hospital, I encountered a pivotal moment in my own health journey. Diagnosed with two autoimmune conditions, I found myself navigating the complexities of traditional Western medicine and a type A personality and career path.
Along with being disheartened by the impersonal care of the traditional medical specialists, I was also highly overwhelmed by the large number of supplements and costly testing advised by functional medicine doctors. All of this was topped by long times spent in waiting rooms and rushed consultations which left me yearning for something more.
As a direct primary care doctor, I want my patients to not have to face what I did. I wanted to break free from the constraints of waiting rooms and rushed consultations, and thus, Love Health – a holistic concierge primary care service – was born.
My Personal Journey and Love Health’s Mission
It was during this journey that I discovered the power of integrative medicine. Using my own experiences as a patient, I immersed myself in practical techniques aimed at treating the whole person and not just their symptoms. I realized that true healing goes beyond the prescription pad—it requires trust, respect, and a genuine connection between doctor and patient. So, as a direct primary care doctor, I wanted my approach to be as flexible and personalized as possible.
This serves as the foundation of Love Health. My mission is to prioritize my patient’s well-being above all else. My approach is centered on building relationships, fostering open communication, and empowering you to take control of your health.
Central to Love Health’s mission is the belief that time is an indispensable ingredient in any person’s healing process. So, to break free from issues like hurried appointments and time contractions, I adopted a direct primary care model. This helped me create an environment where the relationship between direct primary care doctor and patient flourishes, creating a foundation for judgment-free conversation and shared decision-making.
So, no more waiting rooms and rushed appointments; at Love Health, you’re more than just a patient—you’re a valued member of our community.
Functional Healing Beyond Medicine
My commitment to holistic living as a direct primary care doctor extends beyond the walls of my practice. As a devoted yogi, I find solace and strength in daily practice, embracing the physical and spiritual dimensions of yoga. I’m also an avid sports enthusiast and nature lover, finding joy in movement and the beauty of the great outdoors. And, of course, my greatest role of all is that of a dedicated mother to my incredible children, who continue to enrich my life each day.
